Chopstick Making Jig

Making chopsticks by hand is one of those satisfying quick projects, but doing a batch without a jig gets tedious fast. This is a CNC cut jig with angled grooves that hold the square blank at a consistent angle while you run a hand plane over it. Rotate the blank to the next flat, repeat, and you get a nice tapered profile without having to think too much about it.

The jig itself took longer to make than a single pair of chopsticks, but across a batch it more than pays for itself.
